9/8/2023: Weight Room Renovation is in progress by MCPS and some Booster-purchased equipment is arriving already!

Wootton Booster Club is proud to support the new weight room renovation. After several years of delays due to COVID and other reasons, MCPS is moving forward with the renovation. The booster club is helping with the floor coverings and the equipment. This program is ideal for several reasons:

• All athletes on every team can benefit from this project

• The Physical Education classes at Wootton also use room allowing students not on teams to also benefit.

• After two years of canceled seasons, seasons without spectators, or other complications we have found a great project to benefit students now allowing boosters to invest to school and benefit current students immediately.

The Booster Club will be recruiting volunteers to help with fundraising throughout summer 2023 and into the fall season. The Booster Club also has vacant positions and other roles that need volunteers.
